Machine Tool Coolant System Disinfection Kit

A machine tool coolant system provides a good environment for legionella bacteria to multiply; warm, dirty, stagnant water are all favourable to the bacteria meaning one of your workforce could easily catch the potentially lethal disease from such a system. To ensure that your machine tool coolant system is safe to your workforce we recommend that a dipslide reading is taken monthly. A dipslide reading of 105 or higher means that the system should be cleaned and disinfected.

Sterimach is a user friendly kit designed to disinfect the system at the correct chlorine level, test to prove the disinfection has worked and provide a permanent record of the process in the form of a certificate.

The kit contains the following items:

Full instructions for using the kit.
Disinfection Tablets to treat a machine tool cooling system.
Chlorine level test kit, to confirm that the disinfectant level in the water is correct.
    COSHH data sheet.
A bacteria test slide to show that the work has been completed correctly.
A proforma certificate to form a permanent record of the work done.

The kit is packaged for easy use or storage and is economically priced at £19.99 or £180.00 for 10 giving £19.99 discount on 10 separately purchased kits.

Dipslides (bacteria test slides) are used to test for any bacteria by dipping a sensitive slide into the water and then cultivating it in a warm environment for 2 days. Any bacteria in the liquid sampled shows up as red dots. The number of red dots indicates the degree of infection and the level of precautions to be taken.
